My name is Ellen Johnson and I’m the founder of Elevated Action Group. As a Strategic Transformation Leader, I have a strong passion for change management and organizational development. Throughout the course of my 15+ year career, I have honed my skills in aligning technology, processes, and people to drive successful outcomes.

Collaboration is a key component of my work, and I enjoy working closely with cross-functional groups to solve complex problems and lead teams to success. My experience has taught me the importance of effective communication, active listening, and empathetic leadership in achieving positive outcomes.
Since founding Elevated Action Group I have had the pleasure of supporting organizations and individuals to smoothly navigate periods of change and transition. Our services include everything from strategic planning and project management to training and coaching. With a deep understanding of the challenges that organizations face today, we are committed to delivering high-quality solutions that are tailored to each client’s unique needs.
A Passion for Effective Change is Born
I was driven towards a career in change management by having faced change at its worst. Within several organizations, I experiencd changes that were chaotic, poorly planned, and flat-out unsuccessful. I saw the impact this had on everyone. The organization didn’t reach its goals and often ended up with little to no return on huge investments into new ways of working. The employees experiencing the change felt the full burden of it as well. They were unprepared for change, confused about their role and what success looked like. Everyone was disappointed. Throughout this experience I thought, “There has to be a better way” and my passion for change management was born.
Experience
Before founding Elevated Action Group I served as the Head of North America Change Management for Wayfair. In this role I built a change management team from the ground up, successfully overseeing a change portfolio of over 200 changes each year. During my time there I led teams responsible for scoping, planning, and executing changes impacting global service networks. I successfully implemented strategies to prioritize and forecast changes, reducing launch defects and improving adoption rates across Wayfair’s change portfolio.
Prior to my tenure at Wayfair, I held positions with TriMark USA and R.W. Smith & Co., where I led digital transformation initiatives, managed CRM implementations, and directed teams responsible for sales support and customer service.
My skills span a wide range of areas including change portfolio management, process transformation, technology adoption, strategic partnerships, project management, stakeholder engagement, and team development. I am Prosci-certified and have demonstrated my commitment to professional development through various certifications and associations.
